Payment Organizations	Bankart is processor of BA and Karanta cards. Activa is processor of Activa cards

Domestic Card Brands	Activa cards, BA debit cards, Karanta credit cards, all type of either domestic card or card co-badged for international use.

Market Structure	Slovenia has the highest levels of card issuance and use in central and eastern Europe. There were almost 4.3 million debit and credit cards at end-2010, equivalent to 2.2 cards per capita. Foreign ownership of Slovenian banks is lower and state ownership higher, than in other CEE countries. Bankart is the leading domestic card processor and ATM/POS network processor. Activa Systems is the other card processor and POS network processor. There are twice as many payments by number, as ATM withdrawals. There were 70 card payments per capita in 2010.
